Our Commitment to You

At Peter Indorf Jewelers, it is with great pride and integrity that we exceed our customers' expectations in service, selection and value. Our commitment is to offer knowledgeable, friendly service and provide the finest quality jewelry at the best price. Returns are permitted within 10 days from the date of delivery when accompanied with sales slip. The returned merchandise must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and where applicable, in the original gift box with all warranty cards and instruction books intact. Purchase price may be refunded or applied toward store credit or merchandise exchange.

Special Orders/Custom Work

A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered at the client’s request. All special orders require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. Click Here to view the Custom Pieces currently available for purchase.

We regret that special orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made.

Colored Gemstone Enhancement Disclosure

Purchasers of colored gemstones should be aware that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally accepted trade practices. All colored gemstones have probably been subjected to a stable and possibly undetectable enhancement process. All relevant information will be readily provided to the best of our knowledge.

Prevailing market values are based on these universally practiced and accepted processes by the gem and jewelry trade.

Sales and Tax Use

If merchandise is shipped outside of Connecticut and sales tax is not charged, the customer may be liable for a state use tax.

Layaway Policy

Items may be put on layaway for up to 3 months with a minimum deposit of 30%. There must be monthly activity and the item must be paid for in full by the end of the layaway period. Layaways canceled after 30 days will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. The original deposit and any subsequent payments will not be refunded but may be used toward the purchase of other merchandise.

Shipping and Handling

Purchased items are shipped at no additional cost via the United States Postal Service (USPS) registered mail. Signatures upon receipt may be required.

For customers requesting priority shipping or overnight deliveries via the United States Postal Service USPS, United Postal Service (UPS) or Federal Express (FedEx) standard rates will apply. Signatures required.

All shipments from Peter Indorf to customers are insured.
